Types of showers we repair
Power showers
Power showers can look like electric ones, however, they require a supply of both hot and cold water. One of the other crucial differences is that they use a pump instead of a heater.
The pump is used to increase water pressure, making these showers a popular choice for homeowners who live in areas that experience inconsistent water pressure.
When faults occur in these showers it usually down to problems with the pump or trapped air. J&P will be able to diagnose the problem quickly, carry out any repair and recommend a new body, or replacement.
Electric showers
Electric showers use an internal heater to warm the water as you use it.
However, the most common problem associated with these types of showers is limescale buildup, which can be even more prevalent in areas of hard water.
Another common dilemma is when an electrical fault is caused by a leak coming from inside the boiler.
