If you are like most people, then you absolutely abhor limescale build up in your home and on your appliances, bathroom fixtures, faucets etc
Limescale is basically a crusty while film that covers your faucet, tub, toilet, door handles and other things in the home that are vulnerable to water.
It is basically an alkaline hard water deposit that is pretty much unavoidable and can cause damage to your home if left unattended. In this article, we will be looking at a few ways you can reduce and eliminate any limescale build up in your home so that it is always spotless and looks perfectly cared for.

Investigating Your Kitchen
The first place that we will look is in the kitchen. You will notice limescale build-ups on the kitchen faucets, aluminium percolators, coffee maker and even on the tea kettle. In order to remove the build-up from your faucet, all you have to do is soak a cloth or large paper towel in some vinegar and wrap it around your faucet. Leave it for an hour to soak and then wipe the entire faucet using a clean cloth. In order to clean your tea kettles, simply fill the kettle with equal parts of water and vinegar. Then, put the kettle on the stove and allow it to boil. After it has boiled, simply allow the water and vinegar mixture to sit in the kettle overnight, after which you can rinse and wash the entire kettle in the morning.
Checking Out Your Bathroom
Next, the bathroom is one of the most common places to find lots of limescale build-up. In order to clean your toilet from limescale, simply mix equal parts of borax and vinegar. Then, drain your toilet and pour the mixture in and allow it to sit for about 2 hours. After the time has elapsed, scrub the entire toilet bowl with a toilet brush and you will have a beautiful, lime scale-free toilet.
Lastly, you can use a spray of vinegar or cheap white wine for large areas that are covered in limescale such as the shower doors. Of course, be sure to use very cheap white wine and not the good stuff!
